Fall and Winter Favorites with Primally Pure

I published a blog post a few weeks ago called The Eden Factor, where I explained my reasoning for wanting to surround myself with as many clean, down to earth products and food items as possible. Primally Pure is a company I am happy to support. I’m going to share with you a few of my favorite products from Primally Pure, but first a little background about them as a company.

When Bethany' McDaniel’s family spontaneously started Primal Pastures, a regenerative + organic livestock farm in Southern California, she discovered the power of eating real food. Her eyes were opened to a whole new world of wellness. Bethany purged her bathroom cabinets of anything with toxic ingredients and she got to work formulating her own replacements with ingredients straight from the farm.

I’ve been using Primally Pure products for almost a year now, and although I have a lot of respect for the entire line, I’ve come to especially love a few favorites for the fall and winter months that I want to share with you today. And because gift giving is one of my love languages, I’m going to share some thoughts about gifting each of these items.

Sea Soak

I’m a bath girl and take one just about every single night—especially in the fall and winter. The PP Sea Soak is made of sea minerals and blue green algea. This soak is a detoxifier, but I also think it softens the water and is soothing for the skin. If you’re a bath person, or if you know a bath person who needs a gift, I cannot reccomend the PP Sea Soak enough. **Also, the 16oz jar is refillable which makes me so happy! Thank you Primally Pure for wanting to cut down on waste. Also—if you are reading and don’t have a bath tub, check out these three ways to use the Sea Soak that don’t require a tub!

Gift Suggestion: I think the Sea Soak is the perfect gift for your friend who loves the ocean, but isn’t able to travel there right now. Bring a little bit of the ocean to her instead.

Coffee Body Polish

Who does not love a body scrub?! Friends, I absolutely love how incredibly soft my skin feels after a good granular scrub in the shower. I feel so invigorated. I feel like I’ve shed a layer of dead skin—again, especially in the winter. The Coffee Body Polish leaves your skin brighter and firmer. Plus the smell…oh my the smell of coffee and orange essential oil is so lovely and comforting and it puts me in such a good mood!! This polish comes in 2 sizes, 2 oz and 8 oz. When I first ordered it, I decided to go with the 2 oz because I wanted to try it first and immediately regreted it. I should have just purchased the 8 oz so it would last longer. **PP made this body polish in collaboration with Holistic Roasters, a “no compromise coffee” that sources only biodynamic, organic coffee from family-run farms committed to regenerative practices.

Gift Suggestion: Wouldn’t this Coffee Body Polish be the perfect gift for your friend who is a major coffee lover, or who you love to meet for coffee?

Lip Balm Set

I spoke briefly about this set in my blog post called Nests. This set of lip balms comes in a group of 5. You can choose exactly which flavors you want: one of each, all the same, or whatever assortment you wish. The flavors are: Cocoa, Lavender, Peppermint, Creamcicle, and Grapefruit. Lavender is my favorite for obvious reasons, but all are truly fantastic. I keep one in all my little nests including: my purse, my car, my night stand, my office, and my bedside table. As a girl who took Acutane twice as a teenager, I can say it left me with permanently dry, peely lips, and this lip balm is truly the only product that helps that also is made with clean ingredients. Sold for life!

Gift Suggestion: This set of lip balms make great stocking stuffers!

Blue Tansy Deoderant and their new Baking Soda Free Deoderant

I have tried every natural deoderant known to man. I’ve even tried to make my own, and without going into detail, NONE OF THEM HAVE WORKED. However, the Blue Tansy Deoderant from Primally Pure is a natural deoderant that really works. Friends, I am a sweaty person. I am also a person who stress sweats and nervous sweats. For those of you who know what I’m talking about, this is a different type of sweat. So from someone who is looking for effective deoderants while also wanting to put clean ingredients on their body, Primally Pure Deoderant works for me!

The brand new Baking Soda Free Deoderant is excellent for sensitive skin and comes in two different formulas: Charcoal and Unscented. It was created with magnesium from Dead Sea salts, nourishing tallow, and organic arrowroot powder to deliver all day odor protection without irritation. It is unscented, essential oil free, baking soda free, and designed to keep skin healthy, soothed, and comfortable.

Gift Suggestion: I know it might be weird to give deoderant as a gift…😏. If it were me, I would give this to a super fun friend who you do pilates or yoga with (someone you know well and wouldn’t be offended) that is also interested in clean living. Or maybe…this might just be a fun gift for yourself. For more info about using clean deoderants, you can read this blog from Primally Pure.

Friends, I hope if you are looking for a brand that offers clean products, you will give Primally Pure a try. If you shop through my link, you will automatically receive 10% off your purchase. The promo code is TAOLB just in case it doesn’t show up in your cart automatically.

Soil is the skin of the earth; it’s a living ecosystem – its microbiome matters. Beyond sustainable farming, regenerative agriculture maximizes soil health and in turn produces more nutrient-dense products. We mindfully embody our regenerative roots and we're committed to restoring the relationship between the soil and your skin for a more grounded way of wellness.

One last thing…

Primally Pure works with a company called Pact to recycle their packaging. All you have to do is drop off your clean empties at a Pact drop off point. The best part, they are likely locations you already visit regularly like Sephora or Ulta! You can find locations near you at this link. The ones closest to me in McKinney are at the new Sephora on 380, the Ulta at 380 and 75, and the Sephora at Watters Creek. Just keep a little canvas bag hanging on the back of your bathroom door. When you run out of a product, rinse it out and add it to your bag. Then you can take it to drop off once your bag is full. This is such a good way to be a good steward of our earth. Being a good steward isn’t always convenient, but that doesn’t mean it’s not the right thing to do.
