Nests
Lately I’ve been really engaged in setting up little nests for myself. And when I say, “nest" I mean little bowls or trays or bags or drawers that hold my favorite comforts, ie: lip balms, lotions, ring holders, coaster, pens, note pad, charger…things like that. And depending on where the nest is in my house dictates exactly what you might find in said nest. There is nothing worse than being comfortably situated and realizing you don’t have what you need. Having to uncross, uncover, and untangle is annoying.
Here are a few of my nests and what I keep in them.

Lip Balm (all nests)-my most favorite is from Primally Pure, especially the lip balms. Rubberbands/Scrunchie (all nests)
Some sort of hand sanitzer (car and gym bag nests)-I’m using up several that I have right now, but want to try a specific one when I’m finished. I’ll keep you posted.
Pillow Spray (bed side table nest)-my neighbor made it for me and I am obsessed. It’s like Caudalie Beauty Elixer but for your pillow. (I’ll talk about Caudalie Beauty Elixer more in another post, but I love it!) Maybe I can convince my neighbor to bottle it and sell it!
Lotion (all nests)-right now, I’m just using something from Trader Joe’s and some random hand creams given as gifts.
Phone Charger (all but gym bag nest)-Mine is from Courant, though I haven’t been able to find the exact one since mine is old. THIS ONE seems to be the updated version. I like the aesthetics of this charger because it looks elegant on your night stand, charges phone and airpods, and has a little tray with it. I think this makes a GREAT Christmas gift for both men or women because it comes in different finishes: Black Leather, Brown Leather, Camel Linen, and Black Linen.
Jewelry Catchall (bed side table nest)-this is the sterling pedestal bowl I talked about in my Sparkling Silver post.
Pen Holder (all but gym bag nest)-so the one on my nightstand isn’t actually isn’t a pen holder, nor is the one on my sofa side table. I bought some pudding or yogurt or something that came in glass jars, and I decided to save the jars because they were so cute and tiny. When I went looking for a cup to hold pens on my night stand, I knew the little jar would be perfect. On my side table, it’s the vessel from a candle that I cleaned out. I like to have pens nearby in case I need to make a note about something.
Deoderant Wipes (gym bag nest)-these have come in handy if I forgot to put on deoderant in the morning..or if one of my boys did!!!! They also come in ROSE scented.
