Blackberry S’mores
Dear Lovely,
Just like the Rosemary Blackberry Sparkler recipe, this recipe finds us complements of Lorie Fangio, and was originally published in the September 2019 issue of The Art of Living Beautifully Magazine.
There is something so wonderfully ‘fall’ about s’mores. Even now, as I think about the smell of a campfire, I can almost taste charred sugar of fluffy marshmellows, and the grounding bite of a chocolate bar. The combination of both are so simple, so sweet, and so unapologetically delicious!
Blackberry S’mores are a wonderful reminder that s’mores aren’t just for kids!—Plus, with this recipe, no campfire is needed.
Directions:
Break graham crackers into small pieces and place in a scoop into the bottom of each jar.
Spoon in a dollop of marshmallow cream and drizzle with blackberry syrup + a few blackberries.
Top with a sprinkling of chocolate chips, then repeat the process until marshmallow cream is the top layer.
Prior to serving, toast the marshmallow cream on top with a kitchen torch. If you don’t have a torch, brown the marshmallow topping by setting your oven to broil. Place the jars into the oven for no more than 1 minute to char the top.
**jars will heat in the oven, so be careful when handling them
Ingredients:
1 sleeve graham crackers
(1) 7 oz container of marshmallow cream
