TFDxATOP Book Launch Party

As many of you know, the idea for The France Dance was born when I took a trip with A Taste of Paris™ to Provence in the Fall of 2023. When I told Lorie, the owner of ATOP, that I was publishing the book she helped inspire, she offered to throw me a book launch party at their private airplane hanger here in McKinney. Of course, I agreed and thought it was especially fitting since the book begins on an airplane.

The party took place last Thursday, and still—four days later—I am a bit overwhelmed by how much love I felt from all the guests that attended. Many of whom I was meeting for the first time. To everyone who came, to everyone who worked at this event, to everyone who made this possible, may I express my heartfelt appreciation for all that you did. What a night!

With the queen herself!

For those of you curious, I got my ADORABLE top and skirt set at Karadise Boutique here in McKinney. I love shopping local!

Lorie is an absolutely incredible French chef, and made the entire food spread herself. Fabulous palmiers, dips, charcuterie, gazpacho, salads, stuffed peppers, cheeses, and a madeleine board that would have impressed Noëlle herself.

My sweet hubby ordered a bunch of my favorite French rosé—which even has a special cameo in the book. I’m so glad everyone got to try it!

Brian and me

Everything was absolutely delicious, and hopefully Lorie will be sharing some of the recipes on her blog soon. Make sure you are subscribed to A Taste of Paris so you don’t miss a thing…especially when her trips to France become open.

Thank you thank you thank you to everyone who has supported me along this 18 month journey…well, this 11 year journey if we include when I began writing professionally. I love and appreciate you all! xoxoxo
