TFD: Surprise Launch Party

Tuesday was obviously a big day in our home because my debut novel, The France Dance, published for the world to see. The idea for this book began in the fall of 2023 when I took a trip with A Taste of Paris™ and cooked my way across the South of France. I finished the novel in just three months, but publication took another 17 months. Needless to say, our house was happy to celebrate publication day: April 8, 2025.

Brian told me he made reservations for us to have dinner as a family of 4, but prior to our reservation we were walking down the street to my sister’s house for a celebratory toast with her and my brother-in-law.

Afterward, we headed back to our house to get the boys and head to dinner, but I walked into a party happening with all our closest friends!

Chef Marlene Faulkner from Knife and Faulk created the most beautiful French cuisine for the party.

It was a surprising, overwhelming, beautiful dreamy evening with all my dearest people.

It’s not often that someone can surprise me, so all the props to my sweet husband for keeping a secret and throwing such a gorgeous soirée.
