Capsule Collection with Karadise Boutique
Friends, today is such a special blog post. I am so excited to announce that my dear friends at Karadise Boutique have finally been awarded The Best of Boutiques in McKinney! This is so well deserved and here is a little history about Kara and me. I met Kara Brinley, the owner of Karadise, years ago when I wandered into her boutique in Adriatica before going on a trip. From that moment on, Kara has truly been a trusted friend. She is warm, caring, loves the Lord, whip smart, and is a wonderful woman in business. During Covid, when the world was shut down and she had a new business to keep alive, her “closed” store and my home were revolving doors of Karadise bags full of clothing that I would photograph and film then post on Instagram in hopes of driving some business to my beloved friend’s boutique. Five years later, we are celebrating her tremendous award, and sometimes it’s difficult to imagine how we all made it through those times. God bless Karadise!
To celebrate, I am excited to share with you the official Lauren Palmer Capsule Collection with Karadise Boutique. You are going to love how stylish, versatile, and well-priced everything is. When we began curating this collection, I knew I wanted it to be full of classic pieces, travel ready, fun, elegant, and with a European flair to pay homage to The France Dance—which is now available at Karadise, friends! We nailed this collection! I’m even doing a LIVE Instagram feed with Kara on Thursday, July 31 to show the entire collection. Stay tuned for more details. Not bad, huh? The beauty of the Lauren Palmer Collection at Karadise, is that it can all be mixed and matched together very easily. And if you aren’t great at doing that, no problem. First up, I want to chat about these fabulous white trouser jeans. I love them because they are high waisted, sophisticated with the trouser cut, but also a little edgy because of the distressing. They look so chic with one of Kara’s essential tanks, in my collection I have both the nude and the cafè lattè. Also in my collection are these adorable teddy bear sweaters, very Ralph Lauren-esque. Available in both cream and navy. Thrown over shoulders or worn on top when the air conditioning is pumping like on a plane, movie theatre, church, or a restaurant.
The Lavender Drop Shoulder Blouse is such a feminine, classy addition to your wardrobe that has The France Dance written all over it. Add the ADORABLE blue wave clutch and you have such a stunning, elegant look. I’m wearing my own gold charm necklace and my own clear heels. Kara has versions of both at the boutique.
The Finding Love Satin Blouse in teal is another option to pair with the white jeans. A bit of a throw to the 90s—remember those shiny satin button-ups from Wet Seal and Express— I love this blouse because it can be worn with skirts, jeans, tucked in, or tied up. A silk blouse is very versatile. I love the teal, but Kara also has it in a sage green! Stunning! I love it with the beaded Garden of Dreams Clutch!
This shorts and sweater striped travel set is everything. The sweater material is thin, which makes it very wearable even in the summer. Truly the the most comfortable travel set for plane or car days. Layer one of the essential tanks beneath it, and you are good to go! I paired it with the Leopard Affair Tennis Shoes! Leopard is always in style and is considered a neutral. It’s a great way to add a little flair to a basic look.
Speaking of sets, how darling is this post card print skirt and top? I love this for date nights, lunch with friends, or if you’re fortunate enough and don’t mind us being jealous, visiting some museum in Europe. Both pieces can be worn in other ways making this set a “threefer.” Get it? Three outfits for the price of one. The green beaded clutch pairs perfectly with this set!
In the Lauren Palmer Capsule Collection at Karadise, we chose to feature 2 pairs of cropped jeans: The Tate High Rise Double Cuff Jean and The Shoestring Tie Jean. Both are stretchy, flattering, and have interesting little details that elevate the style.
Do you love this hot pink linen shirt? Friends, this is one of my most favorite pieces of the collection. I own this in two different colors already and wear them both all summer. The linen blend fiber is non-wrinkle which makes these shirts incredible for traveling. The vibrant color makes me so happy. Do we LOVE this darling navy pin striped shirt dress? 👇🏻 I love the traditional cut of the button up shirt, but the added peplum skirt is so feminine. This dress is such a great option as we move into fall over the next few months because the dress is cool when our weather remains so hot. The sleeves can be rolled up on warmer days, or add one of the navy Teddy Sweater and a pair of tall boots when days turn chilly.
If you are looking for a denim jacket that goes above and beyond the typical, this Tie-Side Denim is definitely the way to go. I’ve owned this jacket for months now and it has become a go-to staple in my wardrobe. I love the tie detail and how like everything else in this collection, is an elevated version of the ordinary.
