Skin Saviors

Who doesn’t crave beautiful, supple, hydrated, glowing skin this time of year?

Friends, I know I just posted like 4 blogs yesterday and emailed you about them, but for some reason, I felt the need to send this post out as soon as possible. My skin has already started feeling dry and itchy from changing weather, and I had to immediately move into skin salvation action!

I’ll keep this post short and directly to the point. These are my skin and body care saviors that I cannot live without this time of year. The best part about many of these things? YOU GET A DISCOUNT!

And don’t forget, these are some of the cleanest products I’ve ever found. When it comes to my skin, products I use, food I ingest or give to my people, I attempt to find the cleanest ingredients, few chemicals etc…I know you will be so pleased with these.

FIRST UP: Skincare products that are truly hydrating

1.) BioCollagen Masks from Quasi

I love, love , love these masks and cannot say enough good things about how hydrated my skin looks and feels afterward.

Listen, I’m not going to lie to you and say this is a “comfortable” mask. It’s honestly a little bit cumbersome. However, I feel the results are worth it. I’ve been using these for about 6 months now and love the hydrated results. These jelly-like masks adhere to your face while wet and white. As they dry (over the next 4-6 hours—yes, you heard me right) the masks turns clear. In theory, you are supposed to sleep in them overnight. The next morning, the mask will be clear and you simply peel it off. Sometimes I do this, and sometimes I just wear mine during the day if I’m just going to be at home anyway. I would lay down flat for the first 30 minutes or so for it to warm up to your face, and then they stay put a little easier. The Quasi Masks are wonderful! (think stocking stuffers too.)

Not the best picture of me, but this is the day after I slept in a Quasi mask. My skin just looks so healthy. Also, this kitten was so cute.

2.) Bambu Earth Oil Cleanser

This cleanser removes makeup without stirpping the oils from your face. I am an oil cleanser girl from now on. FYI: I’m also a big proponent of keeping a stack of black washcloths in your bathroom for makeup removal. I scrub the oil all over my face with my hands, then take a wet washcloth to remove excess makeup and oil. Be sure to shop through my link to receive 30% off your purchase!!!

This serum is both nourishing and brightening for the skin. Love it!

4.) Shea Butter Moisturizer and Intense Cactus Hydration from Bambu Earth

Friends, I cannot say enough about both of these moisturizers. They are the most hydrating, healing products I’ve ever used on my skin in 43 years. Do I believe you need both? Not really. Do I use both, yes! I use Shea Butter in the morning under my makeup and the Cactus Hydration at night before bed. I love. I love. I love. I love. I cannot say enough good things. If your face is suffering from dehydration, flaking, itching, dryess, truly look no further. The Cactus Hydration is the most expensive product in all of Bambu Earth and I believe it is 100% worth it. Especially with my 30% discount!!!!

You can use ‘TAOLB’ for 10% off this as well as…

7.) Coffee Face Mask by Primally Pure

Okay friends, this is a product that’s on order. It’s a coffee polish specifically for your face. I’ll be honest and tell you I’ve used the body polish on my face—very gently mind you—and I actually loved it. But, I wanted to see the difference between the body polish and the face polish, so I’m going to be testing it out. If you want to test it with me, just click HERE to purchase.

This is what the website says about the Coffee Face Mask: This invigorating, grounding mask is your new biodynamic beauty ritual for brighter, firmer skin. Infused with wildflower honey, warming ginger hydrosol, and caffeine-packed coffee oils, this targeted skin treatment wakes up tired skin, tightens + tones and restores vibrancy while boosting your overall mood. Yes please!

9.) The Whipped Body Butter from Primally Pure

Deciding which fragrance to choose is the most difficult decision about this Body Butter. It’s rich, it’s fluffy, it quickly absorbs. Previously I used the Bergamot Eucalyptus Body Butter and loved it. Right now, I’m using the Holiday Body Butter and am enjoying the peppermint/rosemary fragrance. If you just can’t decide, get excited about the wonderful BODY BUTTER GIFT SETS Primally Pure is offering right now and it’s on sale! Plus your additional 10% off when you use my code ‘TAOLB’!

9) And finally, The Blue Tansy Body Oil from Primally Pure

For years, each winter I’ve doubled up on both a cream and a body oil to keep my wintery skin hydrated, and I believe this oil is my new favorite. It’s nutrient-dense and leaves my skin looking and feeling radiant. Here’s what the website says about the Blue Tansy Body Oil: Blue Tansy contains two main compounds, camphor, a potent skin healer that helps stimulate collagen synthesis and chamazulene, which provides its deep blue hue along with anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and antioxidant properties.

Friends, I hope this blog post helps your skin feel and look its best this season. And don’t forget, these really are wonderful products full of clean, effective ingredients. Non-harmful. Take care!
