Christmas Gift Guide ‘26

Dear Lovely,

Today I want to share with you some gifts for females. They can be used as stocking gifts, for gift exchanges, or regular under the tree gifts. Prices are all over the place so there is really something for everyone.

Let’s begin with a gorgeous French brand called Dyptique. Although I had heard about Dyptique for years, I didn’t experience this brand until 2023 when I traveled to Provence. My hotel provided Dyptique as toiletries for guests while also being a boutique for the brand.

I love the body lotion, the body gel, and the hair perfume. These would be perfect gifts for anyone you know who loves luxury, French anything, or that friend who already has everything!

The fragrance is called Sens, and everytime I smell it, I am back in St. Remy. In French, Sens (pronounced sahnns) has several meanings:

  • Sense — as in the five senses: sight, smell, taste, touch, and hearing.

  • Meaning — as in finding meaning or purpose in life.

  • Direction — as in the direction something is going.

  • Feeling or perception — an intuitive awareness of something.

Isn’t that kind of appropriate considering how much we’ve been doing with the 5 Senses Journaling?

The notes are: Orange blossom, Angelica root, Patchouli, and Juniper berry.

Why yes, I do use a Marie Antoinette hairbrush I bought at Versailles. ☺️

The Cafe Candle from Diptyque smells like the sweetest coffee shop ever, which I light in the kitchen to give it a homey-coffee shop vibe! I love the elegance and luxury of Dyptique and that they offer candle refills so you can reuse your vessel. A second favorite Diyptyque candle scent is Figuier which means fig tree in French. I’ve been saving mine to begin burning on November 1st.

I love these hair clips because they keep hair out of your eyes while doing your makeup, but don’t leave a crease in your hair. Every girl at every age will love these.

I was given my first Moleskin journal at Christmas 2002 before I moved to Italy. You can see it in that 👉🏻picture because yes, I still have it. I have taken it with me everytime I travel back to Italy and continue writing the story that Italy gives.

The gift of a beautiful, high-quality journal is thoughtful, elegant, and practical.

  • The pocket size (3.5”x5.5”) is perfect for travel or to keep in your handbag.

  • The large classic (7.5”x9.5”) is what I use for significant amounts (pages) of writing.

  • The traditional classic (5”x8.25”) is what I would call a traditional journal size.

The Moleskin website shares this sentiment about the legendary notebooks founded originally in Tours, France:

The Moleskine notebook is the heir and successor to the legendary notebook used by artists and thinkers over the past two centuries: among them Vincent Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Ernest Hemingway and Bruce Chatwin. Today, it is celebrated in pop culture as a contemporary icon, an inviting blank space where your own words and sketches join you to an ever evolving relay of creativity.

And if you give her a beautiful journal, go ahead and grab a set of Le Pens as well. These are my absolute favorite pens. I love the colors, the thin tip, and the way they feel writing against the page.

The wonderful thing about these lipsticks, is that the formula looks like skin, not a heavy, creamy substance on your lip, but like the actual color of your lips.

Bisou Balms come in lots of shades and I personally own every single one of them. If your gal loves:

Violette-Fr is such a beautiful, artistic line of cosmetics. You can read more about all the makeup products I use in my French Girl Makeup post.

If you’ve followed me for a while then you’ve heard me say this before, but I will always love my straw tote bag I purchased in France. Even in the winter! It’s roomy and charming and looks chic with every outfit. If you have a girl friend who’s into fashion and/or France, I bet she would love this bag.

The Standard in Downtown McKinney has a wide variety of styles, and likely has even more in-store to check out if you’re local. This version is almost identical to mine, and is a great price.

I feel very sentimental about this book stand because my sweet husband gave it to me as a congratulations for finishing my book. I had no idea how I was going to publish it, but he had faith that I would figure it out. ❤️

This lucite book stand is beautiful and very elegant. It looks great on coffee tables with a book left open, or a stack of them closed (like in the picture below.) It’s also really pretty styled on a book shelf.

Speaking of books, of course The France Dance is a wonderful gift for anyone in your life that loves Europe, France, food, ballet, the ocean, lavender, Provence, love, friendship, healing, reconnection. Plus you’ll be supporting a local author, and local authors need all the support they can get!

If you know someone who is a fan of Nancy Meyers films [think It’s Complicated, Father of the Bride, Something’s Gotta Give, The Parent Trap] and loves the aesthetic of her sets, a wonderful gift would be a copy of This Oak House. This beautiful coffee table book was written by Nancy’s daughter Annie, and follows the restoration journey of her home, which happens to be very reminiscent of several of our favorite movies.

How can I give you gift ideas without mentioning my favorite juice glasses from Anthropologie—you can read all about my collection HERE.

These are so cute and with so many different icons to choose from, there is definitely a pattern that will remind you of more than one person in your life.

I hoard Grow sprays. I keep one in my bedroom for when I unpack. I keep one in the linen closet and spray it so the sheets and blankets don’t smell musty. I keep one in the laundry room and spray it in the dryer with the clothes. Bonus points, purchase the beautiful spray bottle so it looks pretty sitting out on the counter.

The Will Jacket from Sézane

I’ve had mine for years and find it to be one of those evergreen pieces of clothing that never goes out of style. It’s a jacket that kind of looks like a shirt, which is perfect weight for our Texas weather. Mine is olive green, but it comes in 12 different colors! My favorites are:

camel suede | ecru | indigo

My mother always put a tube of Lancôme Definicils Mascara in my stocking growing up. This is the brand I still use today because it’s lengthening without being clumpy. Definitely my favorite mascara.

Ok friends, you are going to LOVE this one. THESE are the exact fabulous robes provided in the rooms at The Ritz Carlton! They are the softest, most luxurious robes I have ever worn, plus they come in lots of different colors! They are lined with uber soft plush material and wash really easily. I’m telling you, you will never go wrong with gifting a loved one one of these fabulous robes!

For your foodie friend(s), how precious are these fancy food ornaments from Williams-Sonoma? Sweet gift for a stocking, ornament exchange, or gift topper. There are 6 shown but are available in11 different foods!

Oh my goodness do I love this bag! My friend Nicole gave me one for my 40th birthday and it has been a tried and true bag for my farmer’s market runs ever since. Egg cartons and bottles of olive oil slide down into the little sections; fruits, vegetables, pizzas, pastas, humus, flowers, coffee, tamales, flowers…I can’t tell you all the fabulous things mine has held.

And can I tell you how many times I get stopped at the market and asked about the bag? For years, I never new where this bag came from, and would have to say, “I’m not sure where to buy one. It was a gift.” Love that I found it at one of my favorite kitchen stores!

Definitely get your farmer’s-market-loving-friend one of these Market Totes!

When I returned home from Paris, I ordered this little vase from Amazon so I could practice flower arranging. I love how rustic it looks and the size is perfect for small arrangements. I know this is kind of a random gift, but it’s truly one of my favorite Amazon buys of all time because it is so useful and really high quality.

Are these not the most beautiful, most unexpected gifts? I bought mine at the Burress Design Group showroom in Adriatica—but she doesn’t carry them anymore. Good news is, I found similar ones on Amazon!

blue chinoserie | green pattern | rose bird

Okay friends, how was that? Were these some good ideas? Please let me know in the comments if you like this type of post and if you’d like to see any other gift guides. I’m happy to make some for you. Happy gift giving season, friends!
